Terms of Service
These terms explain the rules for using CatalogScore, including account responsibilities, public-data scanning limits, report usage, subscriptions, and service protections.
Last updated: June 12, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of CatalogScore, a catalog quality intelligence platform operated by Taman Labs. By creating an account, starting a scan, inviting a user, or otherwise using CatalogScore, you agree to these terms.
If you use CatalogScore on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.
2. The CatalogScore service
CatalogScore helps marketplace, ecommerce, and operations teams review publicly accessible catalog pages. The service may crawl submitted public URLs, capture scan evidence, analyze visible listing content, and generate dashboards, issue queues, and reports.
CatalogScore findings are review candidates. They are intended to help your team prioritize human review, not to make final determinations about legal compliance, marketplace policy compliance, pricing accuracy, product safety, or merchandising decisions.
4. Public data and scan scope
CatalogScore is designed for public data only. You may submit only URLs and catalog content that are publicly accessible without bypassing login walls, paywalls, CAPTCHAs, robots controls, geographic restrictions, technical access controls, or other protections.
You are responsible for the URLs, domains, marketplaces, and scan scope you submit. You must have the right to submit that scope for analysis and to use any resulting reports.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use CatalogScore to violate any law, infringe third-party rights, harvest competitive intelligence at scale, build a substitute dataset for a third party, disrupt any website or service, reverse engineer CatalogScore, probe our infrastructure, or interfere with other customers.
You may not submit content that is unlawful, malicious, deceptive, or intended to damage CatalogScore, our providers, or third-party systems. We may throttle, reject, suspend, or terminate scans that we reasonably believe create risk.
6. Customer data and permissions
You retain ownership of the URLs, catalog information, notes, comments, reports, and other content you submit to or generate through your account. You grant Taman Labs the limited rights needed to host, process, analyze, display, secure, support, and improve CatalogScore.
You are responsible for the accuracy, quality, and legality of customer data. Do not submit private credentials, payment card data, protected health information, sensitive personal data, or other information that CatalogScore is not designed to process.
7. Reports, evidence, and decisions
Reports, scores, confidence labels, suggested fixes, product images, extracted text, and other outputs are provided for operational review. You are responsible for validating outputs before making business, legal, policy, or customer-facing decisions.
CatalogScore may preserve evidence, timestamps, source URLs, confidence reasons, review decisions, and scan metadata so findings remain auditable across reports and rescans.
8. Fees and subscriptions
Paid plans, usage limits, billing terms, renewal terms, and cancellation rights will be described in the applicable order form, checkout flow, or written agreement. Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
We may change pricing or plan features with notice. Changes will not reduce the core functionality of a paid subscription during its then-current term unless required for legal, security, or platform integrity reasons.
9. Third-party services
CatalogScore may rely on hosting, database, storage, email, analytics, AI, and other infrastructure providers. These providers may process customer data solely to help us provide, secure, support, and improve the service.
CatalogScore may also link to or analyze third-party websites. We do not control third-party websites or marketplace policies, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or terms.
10. Intellectual property
Taman Labs owns CatalogScore, including the software, workflows, scoring logic, visual design, documentation, trademarks, and service improvements. These terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
You may use reports and exports generated for your account for your internal business purposes, subject to these terms and any applicable plan limits.
11. Confidentiality and security
Each party may receive non-public information from the other. The receiving party will use reasonable care to protect that information and will use it only for purposes related to the service.
We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect CatalogScore and customer data. No system is perfectly secure, and you are responsible for using the service in a secure manner.
12. Service changes and availability
We may update, improve, limit, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time. We aim to provide notice when a material change affects active customers, but urgent security, legal, or operational changes may be made without advance notice.
The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, outages, provider issues, or events outside our control. We are not liable for interruptions, delays, or loss of access except as expressly stated in a separate written agreement.
13. Disclaimers
CatalogScore is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Taman Labs disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that every issue will be detected, that every finding will be correct, that scan evidence will always be complete, or that use of the service will satisfy any marketplace, regulatory, or contractual requirement.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Taman Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption.
Taman Labs' total liability for all claims relating to the service will not exceed the amounts paid by you to Taman Labs for CatalogScore in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
15. Suspension and termination
You may stop using CatalogScore at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, create risk for CatalogScore or third parties, fail to pay amounts due, or use the service in a way that may cause legal, security, or operational harm.
After termination, your right to use the service ends. We may retain or delete account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, legal obligations, backup practices, and any separate written agreement.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the service, by email, or by another reasonable method. The updated terms become effective when posted or as stated in the notice.
Your continued use of CatalogScore after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
